Conor Pope's Consumer 999 is an investigative consumer format presented by Conor Pope, Ireland's leading Consumer Journalist. Conor will use all of his expertise and experience to confront companies who are misleading, mistreating and defrauding their customers, in an effort to bring positive closure to distressing consumer ordeals. Alongside these investigations, Conor will also use these stories as an opportunity to offer viewers valuable consumer tips, useful insights into consumer rights and practical advice on suggested courses of action for a range of challenging consumer issues.

Conor Pope (born 3 August 1968) is an Irish journalist, author and broadcaster who works for The Irish Times as well as regularly appearing on radio and television. Pope is the Consumer Affairs correspondent with the Times and also writes the weekly Pricewatch page in The Irish Times as well as occupying a segment of the same name on 'The Ray D'Arcy Show on RTE. He also has a weekly slot on TV3's Six O'Clock Show and is the presenter of Conor Pope's Consumer 999 on the same channel.

In 1996, Conor joined The Irish Times, becoming involved with the paper's website. He has also written a book advising consumers how to spend money wisely. One of the panelists on a consumer-related game show called Highly Recommended, he has also presented Living Lightly, a consumer lifestyle programme, on RTÉ. In 2012, as part of his job, he rang into TV3's Psychic Readings Live and asked Psychic Wayne about a concern he felt that someone he is connected to in his job was stealing money belonging to other people. He was promptly cut off. He also supports the campaign to erect a statue in Galway in memory of Che Guevara, the Argentine revolutionary, who was partly descended from the Lynch family of Galway. This was the subject of controversy when American politicians commented unfavourably on the proposed memorial.
